NEW! System Tweaks

There has been a couple of changes to the system, one of which has been in place for the last couple of weeks and one that you will see from now on.

The first one is a change to the formula that assesses the probability of each event. More weight is given to recent form than before and this should bring big improvements to the assessment of ‘surprise’ teams that are over-/underperforming compared to early season expectations.

The second is that our recommendations will now favour those outcomes that have 50% likelihood or higher instead of the current maximum ‘Quality’ score selection. The idea here is that we will gain a higher number of winners and make up for the (slightly) lower expected RoI through compounding returns (from larger bank sizes).

We will see more LAY bets in matches as these give us a win on 2 out of the 3 outcomes, compared to a BACK. If anybody needs help with placing LAY Bets please get in contact and we will assist.

Some betting exchanges (such as BETDAQ) request that you enter the BACKER’S STAKE rather than your LIABILITY when placing a LAY bet. We give the Position Size as the amount you risk, so this is your liability whether backing or laying.

As an example, if the recommended Position Size is 4.5% and your nominal bank is £1000, then your liability is £45. To LAY @ 2.34 the BACKER’S STAKE is:

LIABILITY/(ODDS-1) 45/(2.34-1) = £33.58
